Behind the Lines

Feature documentary · 30 to 45 min

Synopsis

Ten athletes followed across every stop of the Freeride World Tour 2026. The film goes behind the runs to show what the competition actually looks like from the inside: the doubt before dropping in, the team dynamics between stops, the weight of a season that carried the first freeride world championships, with the sport on its way to the 2030 Olympics.

Story

A season followed from the inside, before and after the runs.

Behind the Lines follows the Scott team through the 2026 Freeride World Tour, from training in Innsbruck and Val Thorens to the stops in Baqueira Beret, Georgia, Fieberbrunn, Alaska, and the Xtreme Verbier final. A roster of veterans and rookies, and the coaching staff around them.

The camera stays with them in the waiting, the doubt, the conversations between teammates, the comebacks, the bad days.

Ten athletes, ten different seasons.

Comebacks short of expectations, knees that gave out, a world title at the first Freeride World Championships, and a rookie who turned a disappointing home run into an overall win at the Verbier final.
