Eighty kilometers through the Champsaur valley, on the western edge of the Écrins massif. A race that draws runners looking for wild landscape and the pleasure of being in the mountains, filmed with the organization and funded by the valley's tourist office. We filmed the 2025 edition, then the 2026 one, this time with a film per race: 20, 30 and 80 kilometers.
Ultrachampsaur runs through the Champsaur valley and the surrounding ridges of the Écrins. Two hundred runners take the start. After the first climb, they are mostly alone. The route crosses villages, a road or two, then climbs back up to high meadows for hours.
The runners we filmed talk about isolation, authenticity, finishing in good shape, the pleasure of being in the mountains.

A runner, on the course
A five-minute horizontal film on Instagram is the format social platforms penalize the most. It performed anyway, and a reel cut from the same footage multiplied that reach by more than ten.
How the system worksWe work with events, territories and brands that have a real identity, and we film what that identity is. Ultrachampsaur is one of those projects: the organizer left us the editorial line, the valley provided the material, and the runners said it better than any voice-over could. The film stayed true to the sport, and reached well beyond the account's existing base.
